- The app does not use advertising, tracking, analytics, or third-party SDKs.
- Personal shopping lists, items, categories, notes, prices, photos, locations, reminder settings, translation settings, and backup metadata are stored on the user’s device and in user-controlled files where applicable.
- When the user chooses to share a list, shared list identity and approved shared item fields may be stored and synchronized through Apple iCloud/CloudKit for invited participants: item existence, title, quantity, comment, and purchased state.
- Local-only item details such as price, category, translation, and photos are not synchronized as shared fields and remain local to each participant unless the user includes them in a user-controlled backup or file export.
- The app may use iCloud Drive document storage for backup files and files the user chooses to create or open.
- The app may request camera access to attach photos to items.
- The app may request photo library access to choose item photos.
- The app may request location access to suggest a relevant shopping list or support store reminders near saved places.
- The app may request notification permission for local reminders.
- Backups are user-facing .shoplistbackup files and may contain shopping data, settings, locations, reminder settings, and item images.
- The developer does not operate a backend service for ShopList user data.
- If data collection, analytics, advertising, or third-party services are added in a future version, this policy will be updated.
